Hi All

My fiancee is in the US Air Force and can you please tell me in which department he can obtain letter of employment?

He asked legal office in his base but they said they can't issue one. His direct boss has no idea .

Legal office advised him that career center may issue one. If career center can't issue one, we are stuck!

Also do you know how long this letter is valid since the date of issue?

Waiting for replys!

Thanks.

He should be able to get a letter from his first shirt or command written up if hes on good terms with them. Or he can print up a pay grade sheet and his information from his desk like my husband did. We included that with his LES statements. No problems with thos items at my interview.

I was thinking about the same. My fiancee is in the Army. We were just talking about this the other day. He was asking me, if his orders would work!? So, if we have his paychecks and the orders, would that be enough? and if not, what exactly does his command write in this letter?

Thanks :)

If you use orders make sure you black out any information that should not be shared on it! I just use a sharpie pen to strike out the lines.

Command or first shirt can write a letter stating the rank and pay and when he joined etc. But honestly he should be able to print out a sheet with all that info on it.. i'm sorry i cant remember the name of that thing but i know my husband was able to just print it out.wacko.gif
