Cairo K1 interviews

Hi VJ fellows. Any one having there K1 interview in December? The US embassy updated there scheduling and there are ONLY 2 K1 interviews in December :-(

Does anyone know why there are putting the K1 on the shelf now?

From what I have seen I think spouse interviews were taking 5.5 till 6.5 months---even if they had kids and had been separated for the entire process. So, I think since the fiance interviews were only taking 1.5-2.5 months that someone realized that this was probably best fixed if everyone had the same wait for interviews. So hopefully we will all get a timely interview soon. AND TUESDAY IS THE 29th!!! And Cairo is known for giving out interviews late afternoons on the 29th so call NVC tomorrow at 1130pm Cairo time!

Your and my timeline are pretty close and I am praying for a mid January date so I also pray for you too.

I believe Cairo is not titling the interviews correctly. Last month there was only 1 K1 interviews scheduled and I know of at least 3 fiances that had interviews in November. So, I believe the interviews are happening and Cairo is choosing to mislabel them so we cannot calculate exactly how many of each type of interviews are being given.

The good news is that they have increased the interviews ALOT. They used to be just 350-450 a month and december they have scheduled 780 so far.

So, it still looks like Cairo is waiting less than 3 months for fiance interviews so hopefully they will squeeze you in at the middle or end of December??

And Hopefully the spouse interviews wait will decrease also

I hope they could squeeze us in there schedule soon. I am so tired of this long wait. Why does it have to be such a long process? Why 2 lovers have to stay apart so long because of this long process :-(
