Im sure every one asks this so, sorry. It seems like watching online for stuff was so long ago! So, someone want to give me a very brief refresher? I recall also that the sent email notifications as well.

NVC

July 8, 2009 to August 10, 2009 - 28 days

Interview Assigned - December 3, 2009 - FINALLY!!

Medical - December 14, 2009 - Passed

Embassy/Interview - January 26, 2010 Montreal, Quebec Canada - 167 days PASSED!!!

Port of Entry - February 26, 2010 Baltimore International, Maryland

USCIS -- ROC package sent off

November 26, 2011 to Vermont station November 30, 2011 received NOA1December 16, 2011 received biometrics appointment.

January 04, 2012 Biometrics

September 2, 2012, RFE Received.

September 22, 2012 RFE responded to

October 15, 2012 ROC approved, 10 Green card on its way.

Unlike AOS, the receipt number you get on your I-751 NOA1 won't work. You will have to wait until you get your biometrics notice to get a tracking number that will work on the USCIS website.

Once you get that, you go the USCIS E-gov website, log in, and add that tracking number to your portfolio. The main page there will list your three AOS cases and this new one, and let you activate email and text alerts for status changes.

I had to have them email me my login id and password, since I hadn't logged in since my AOS approval. :)

For K-1 I had no touches. For AOS my case status was updated to show they had sent a RFE, I'm not sure it was updated to show I was approved though. Did you get more updates than that? Maybe it depends on who is processing your case?

Ours is still in "initial review" and has only had one touch- when the NOA was mailed out. They don't seem to update often! :angry:

Was the "touch" a few weeks after your NOA1 date?

i don't think i had many touches for the k-1, but other people's timelines seemed to reflect a lot. at least that's what i remember.

our last update was the noa1 receipt date. boring!
