Where/how should I attach my check?

I know this may sound like a dumb question, but I was wondering if someone can tell me where & how I should attach my check. I'm afraid to make a mistake. I don't know where to put it & I'm afraid to staple it onto the petition (I-751). Please help! I want to mail off my packet tomorrow. Thanks in advance for your help! God bless! :)

AOS approved-----------> January 12, 2010

Greencard received-----------> January 23, 2010

I-751 Package sent-----------> November 28, 2011

Package received-----------> November 29, 2011

NOA-----------> November 29, 2011

Check cashed-----------> December 1, 2011

Paper clip to the first page of the I-751 application and use the Express envelope from the post office.

i stapled it to a friggin petition and sent it by fedex...
