i am the UKC spouse, i am collecting all relevent in formation for the i-601 waiver, and was wondering des my USC wife have to physicaly sign the hardship letter and mail it to me , or can she just email it, and does it require a signature at all? any help on this matter would be greatfully rcieved..... We just scanned it in and the lawyer printed it out. It doesn't have to be original , just sincere and convincing. Starting to wonder about the whole process ......it's not right that those who try to do it correctly and legal/on the up and up......get punished so for being legal. I have some very choice words for my country's immigration rules and enforcement but will withhold them for a bit longer while holding out hope they're not a bunch of SOB's.

I think it should have a signature but does not necessarily have to be an original.
