1.a. As stated, you are a mere chica and no one should listen to you, no ma'am (just kidding, soy un macho man). - Si, Señor! A sus ordenes rofl.gif

1.b. If Mrs. T-B. turns out not to be my final wife, I'll scour the southern part of the Western Hemisphere, then maybe get back with you, si ma'am. laughing.gif --- Por dios, Let me know and i pick u a niceeee LADY and a housewife, eso es, Señor! idea9dv.gif

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/180306-guayaquil-consulate-administrative-process/ - No comments, they just mess up with peoples lifes and plans......to attend,,,,,,not to attend.........feel sorry for this human factor, cos if some things are not written in official page than how on earth they can demand them to be done?!!!! CRAZY LATINO RULES.........
3.a. Did the dishwarsher (Texas spelling) thing last night and again tonight. I wish that a foto (Spanish spelling) had been available of the kitchen before Mrs. T-B. finally cleaned it up. It was a classic, sigh man! Despite the clean-up, I had yet another nice conversation with three more of Mrs. T-B.'s pets, the kitchen ants. The names of these ones are Hector, Diego, and Juan Pablo. They want more spilled honey, optimally in the same spot all the time, but they're largely happy and definitely well-fed, si man. - Dile mis saludos a Juan Pablo, que lo vi en una peli reciente ;)
3.b. Love is a chica's perspective. From here, it was as much that no one messes with me, no man. - Machoooooo mannnn machoooo man you are annnn machooo man rofl.gif rofl.gif rofl.gif No love for true cowboy rofl.gif

I'm low-tech to the extreme and can provide no fotos (Spanish spelling, si man). However, trust me to the max on this, believe man.

This eve, the dishwasher load was actually manageable. Mrs. T-B. had stowed only small stuff on the top rack, and the dinner plates et al. were still in the sink. Furthermore, there was ample room on both racks to arrange what needed washing. She must be sick -- like any good gringo, I must show my genuine love by one of the following:

-- suggest that she take some pills (it matters not what -- pills = good); or

-- offer her one or more pills.

She is finally learning that a gringo shows love through one of the above, see man. As luck has it, the matter is academic: everyone in the casa (Mrs. T-B., Mini-B., cat) is sleeping, zzz man.

Well now THERE is a difference! She really "eats pills"? That is like a horrible thing in Ukraine! NO PILLS! Just tonight I had a headache, I have a bit of a cold. Me, I say it is because we just spent two weeks in crowded subways, trams, airplanes, freedom square, etc. NO! It is because on Tuesday I went out walking in the city and did not wear my long underwear (it was +4C...38F) "Now you are ill, I told you!" Uh huh. "Don't eat pills! I will fix your headache" In comes a steaming big wash pan of hot water and... dry mustard...for my FEET!

My feet are in the mixture now. Feels good but I still have the headache. After the foot soak I am ordered to take a shower (to wash off the mustard I guess) and go to bed and read instead of use the computer. If I get the chance I am going to eat a pair of Exedrin tablets when I drink the tea which is no doubt coming next. Right now I have hot water with lemon and honey for my stomach and hot water with mustard for my feet...and a headache.

ОН! Это ужасно!rofl.gif

Yep, dry mustard. And yes, I asked, it is for the cold BUT the headache is from the cold so she is attacking the headache at its source. Brilliant. I NEVER argue. Given that modern medicine has not cured the common cold...why not?

Alla is currently working on a RN and is no dummy when it comes to medical issues. She avoids pills at every opportunity. If she tries that stinky concoction she makes and rolls in cheesecloth and tries to wrap around my neck, I am jumping out the bedroom window!

I insist on reporting that pills are crucial to and for gringos, see man. Mrs. T-B. announced tonight that she took an acetaminophen tablet for her muscular aches; I had to re-educate her that aspirin works better for that (and will help her sleep), si man.

The kitchen wasn't TOO destroyed today, considering that the only meal made was breakfast for Mini-B., wee man.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
