I am a young Haitian female who is living in aux etas unis en floride (florida) my fiance is residing in our native country Haiti, we met on a social network (FACEBOOK)and it has been a whirlwind romance to die for! i met him once in person for 9 days, My question to you all is that will that affect my chances of being approved???? I have countless phone records through several phone companies and the phone calls are rather detailed, in addition i have chat correspondences from the month of April 2011 up until septembre 2011, i have photos with him and his family , i have the hotel receipt of the hotel i stayed in in Haiti. I also have a topnotch immigration lawyer on the case who has filed the necessary paperwork on my behalf, do you think having an immigration lawyer improves one's odd of the visa being approved??? can you guys give me a percentage of the likelihood of me being approved despite i only met him once in person due to the fact im a college student and i go to school throughout the year. i have money transfer receipts, fex ex receipts, C.A.M RECEIPTS EXCETRA SINCERLY A DEAR FRIEND PLEASE GET BACK TO ME AT ONE'S EARLIEST CONVENIENCE MESI! There's no need to post the same thing twice, please.

1. Are you a Haitian citizen, or a U.S. citizen?

2. One 9-day visit is probably inadequate in the eyes of a U.S. consulate in a high-fraud, third-world country.

3. A good family-immigration lawyer can help most by identifying red flags in a prospective petition, and in few other ways.

4. Would you be able to support your husband-to-be; or, can you get a cosponsor who could?

5. Money-transfer receipts can be as much a negative factor as a positive one, if they're positive at all.

Multiple visits, in person, are what you need to increase your (in my opinion) dim chances of procuring a visa for him.

All of what you've asked is answered in the Guides (atop every VJ page here) and in multiple threads in multiple forums. Do your reading, and come back with any questions to which you couldn't find the answers after a thorough and sincere search.

In reply to to one I am a U.S citizen and i visited my fiance for the first time this past august 2011 my lawyer has already sent my petition on my behalf and as far as the money transfers its me sending him money, because if it was my fiance sending me money they would think he was paying me , wouldnt you think? My question is i plan on visiting him between dec 2011 to january 2012 do you think two visits would be sufficient?? I actually work, i dont have children or any dependents im 22 years of age he;s 21 years of age, i plan on using a cosponsor

the reason why i havent visited him often is because im actually a full time college student

A good long visit would be worth a lot. If you can manage it, do it. Be sure to save your boarding passes & luggage receipts. Take many pictures of the two of you together, in different situations and wearing different clothing.
