Not in and of itself, no. But he's going to have to provide all of his divorce decrees when he files for you.

Think carefully about this... he's got a track record now.

Jen

The person didn't ask you for your PERSONAL opinion of their fiancee. It's not of your business if he's been married 1 or 10 times. The decision to marry him or not is up to her and since she didn't anyone here if she should marry him or not, then we should keep our private thoughts and opinions to ourselves.

any advice will greatly appreciate thanks.

I think that this quote from the OP validates Jens point.....Moving on!

The only way i can see this as a problem is if your fiance'e can't present the 4 final divorce decree's, If yes! Then i can't see this being any significant problem!

Good Luck

In addition to the Divorce Decrees, make sure he produces a Affidavit explaing the current whereabouts of the prior wives.

Thank you.

I wasn't judging... just advising caution. Anyone who doesn't see this as a potential red flag is in denial. But if the OP has worked it all out, more power to her! I hope they are truly happy.

Good point Jen, Something else to be careful of, is the amount of child support if any, as he has to prove he can support his fiancee's and that they will not become a burden to the state.

There is one common factor in being divored 3 times, but give him the benefit of the doubt as I have a friend that was divorced 3 times and he just picked really bad women... 1 left him for another woman, 2nd for his neighbor and 3rd is in prision for selling drugs... he has custody of all his kids.... not always the man. But she should think about these things and as long as she accepts them, it is her life. JMHO, Payato

Why not, indeed. You are going into this with your eyes wide open and that is the most important thing. Just make sure that all of your paperwork is in order and be prepared for more scrunity in that regard as you proceed. The USCIS will want to see that all of the dates and chronology match up...

Best wishes,

Jen

My husband had been married three times before as has the OP (not four as someone stated) you will need to supply the three divorce decrees in full from the courts responsible in each case. We DID NOT have to provide any evidence of where the ex's were now

I believe the OP was asking for advice ref this issue and not her her choice of life partner. None of us are in any way qualified to give advice on the latter.

The issue of my husbands previous marriages was never mentioned at any stage in the K-1 process and in no way seems to have impacted on our approval which was granted

Typo error ;)

The OP is intelligent enough to know what an opinion is and what the facts are, I must admit that there would be red flags with 3 divorces, But on the 10th perch, I know very well that we make mistakes too.

The OP expressed that she spoke to her fiancee, Obviously! they have been for 1 year and it seems that the relationship is going strong, That sounds like concrete evidence that a relationship is a 2 way one!

Just my opinion

My Hubby had been married twice before and they did ask me if I was aware of this when I had my Embassy Interview...I told them I was aware of it and they said 'OK'....that was the only time it was mentioned throughout our whole process.
