I'll be attending with my fiancee her visa interview on November 23, 2011. I plan to arrive in The Philippines on November 21, so we plan to spend at least 3-4 days in Manila. I'm trying to look for nice, clean, budget friendly hotels or pension houses. I'm looking to spend under ( or close to) 2000 pesos a night. Main requirements... it should have free WiFi, close enough to the US Embassy, and not in a bad area.

We'll probably end up splurging a little once we get approved lol... reward for growing through this stressful visa process.

City State Tower Hotel is a nice budget hotel, but I'm not sure about the wifi.

The Hyatt Hotel and Casino is a great place to splurge, and it's also near the Embassy.

My wife is staying at the Cherry Blossoms hotel right now which is right next to St. Lukes and about a 10 min walk to the embassy she said it is pretty nice and has Wi-Fi and free breakfast every morning. It cost 1,700 a night there which is pretty decent for that area. I would recommend this hotel.

Thanks guys! My fiancee will have her medical on Tuesday and she booked a room at Ralph Anthony Suites. I guess it's new judging by pictures and having very little info/reviews on it, but was recommended by a friend of her's. I told her to check out Hotel Soriente, Cherry Blossoms, and a few others while she's doing her medical.
