Patience is running out and this rollercoaster is the hardest yet

OMG! USCIS how I wish I knew what you are doing with my application...CSC why are you taking forever? I swear that my patience level is running so thin. I just got back from seeing the hubby and saying goodbye breaks me into pieces. The hardest part of all is letting him go. I wouldn't want this feeling or this situation not even on my worst enemy. How I wish and pray that I wake up the next day with a text or e-mail of some sort with news, with atleast an update on what's going on. I just got home and already miss my husband and this rollercoaster has me crying atleast 2 or 3 times a week wishing for an approval. USCIS has no idea what kind of emotional harm they do on people. I just want this nightmare to end already. All I want for Christmas is a sign that something is happening with my case...pleaseeeeeeeeee. God give me strength, patience, and anything else I need to continue to wait. I know many of you feel the same way...

I know the feeling. I spent 5 years apart from the person I love and it was not easy. Saying good bye got harder every time. The long waiting period without news that USCIS put me through was not easy either. But it all comes to end. I know that right now you don't care about people telling you to be patient but waiting is the only thing you can do right now. Just think about all the happy days to come with your loved one and it will help you get through this. I hope you have the news you want soon :)

You're right...they have no idea how heart breaking it is to leave the person you love every time....and CSC I hear is the worst!!!! I hope you hear something soon. I'd love to be a fly on the wall at those centers and see how quickly and efficiently they actually work.

I feel exactly the same way. I know that there is not much we can do but to pray and be more patient. It's just really hard especially now that important holidays are coming up. I completely understand why you are ranting. Others may see it as a waste of time and energy but I guess somehow it helps to have a release and hear other people sympathize with our situation.

We are on K1 visa and like you, my fiance just got back to the US after visiting me for a week. We have been waiting for 4 months and havent heard anything from the USCIS. I know they said that 5 months is the average waiting time but I can't help but be put down seeing other people get faster approvals. It's definitely different for every case but for all of us, it's torture to be kept waiting with an indefinite time for the finish line.

I'll keep praying for all of us who are still on the waiting end. Let's try to stay positive and heed others' advice who's already 'been there done that'. It may seem unbearable at this point but it will all be worth it in the end when we're finally with our loved ones. After that, you have forever to make up for lost time ;)

The best thing is to skype as much as possible and not think about the application. You can start working on the NVC stuff now and pre reading the directions, putting together the info, getting originals, etc. It is tough but before you know it the rollercoaster goes fast down hill after the NOA2 and NVC starts. Best of luck and hang in there.........

It's so hard for all of us. Whether it's a week, a month, 9 months like me or even years like those in AP and with ban waivers pending, each day is still a day without our best friend, which is why I think every single case on here deserves an update as much as the next.

Just know in your heart that everyday you wait for each other is another reason why you are doing this. We're all so incredibly lucky to find people we are willing to do this for, and people who are willing to wait while we do this. I thank my lucky stars each day that I found an amazing lover, my best friend and someone I can trust beyond everything else, and to top it all he thinks I'm enough to wait through all of this for me to appear at the top of the airport stairs. Sometimes the amount of trust I've been given bowls me over, and this is what keeps me going.

Also, I see friends in stale relationships, clearly not in love, arguing all the time and I think thank god I only have to go though a bit of waiting and then I skip the rubbish relationship part where we take each other for granted. I think we're all incredibly lucky to be going through this hell!
