Many Congrats!

Normally it takes 30 to 45 days to assign a NVC case number at least wait for a month.You can also give them a call ..it is always advisable to be in regular touch. I hope you will hear from them by the mid of this month

mine took around 3 weeks so my thoughts to you is to start working on the AOS and IV packages

SEPTEMBER 30 2011 CASE RECEIVED waiting for case number

OCTOBER 19 2011 RECEIVED THE CASE NUMBER BY PHONE

OCTOBER 26 2011 AOS BILL INVOICED AND PAID

OCTOBER 26 2011 Choose of agent email sent(DS3032)

OCTOBER 28 2011 Received AOS/DS3032 email

OCTOBER 31 2011 AOS package reached NVC by DHL

November 1 2011 IV bill invoiced and paid

November 7 2011 IV package received by the NVC

November 9 2011 Case completed --waiting for the interview date

---Interview Date December 8 2011 approved

thanks...but how do i start working on the AOS and IV packages before recieving a case number..also i thought my husbnd just had to pay those fees online..

Even though you don't have a case number, you can still start preparing the forms and documents needed for both packages.

As for paying the fees, you have to wait until you get your case number and IIN to be able to log in. And even then, it'll still take a few days for the AOS to be invoiced. And the IV is invoiced only after the acceptance of the DS-3032.

Once both fees are appearing as PAID, then you send in your packages, which should be ready as you have plenty of time to put them together.
