Hello VJ!!!!

Good Day!

I have a question : what if the petition has been approve and my CENOMAR didnt arrive yet.

In my case my petition for Divorce recognition right now is still waiting on the final decision of the Presiding Judge in the court. So hopefully it will be forwarded soon to NSO.

IF the K1 will be approve and we need to schedule for interview. Can we wait for sometime till we get the CENOMAR then we will schedule the interview? Please be guided because im too confused.

Thank you so much. ...

When your I-129F petition is approved by the USCIS, you will have four months in which to schedule your interview. The expiration date for your approved petition will be shown on your approval letter.

If you are still waiting for your CENOMAR after the four months, you can email the U.S. Embassy Manila and request a four-month extension of your petition.

What is the 'CENOMAR'?

Excuse my ignorance;

I have repeated quite a few times here lately, that I did this once about 4 years ago, and THE ONLY THING I REMEMBER BEING INVOLVED IN WAS... receiving the First NOA.

After that... it seems to me, it was all 'in her court'.

I don't remember getting anything else in the mail or otherwise.

It was alot of time, about 7 months, but the only other thing I remember after receiving the NOA1 was that the rest of the paperwork was on 'her end', until the interview was scheduled.... a month out, .. hence, 8 months total. I just don't remember me receiving anything else in the mail or otherwise.

07/27/2011...........NOA1 received.

12/05/2011...........RFE received.

12/13/2011...........RFE response sent.

12/16/2011...........RFE RESPONSE received by Vermont S.C.

12/22/2011...........Teased by a text-message from uscis, saying they have received my response to the RFE.

12/30/2011...........LA VISA APROVADOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

01/12/2012...........Case Sent To Bogota Colombia, from the National Visa Center.

02/09/2012...........Schedule Interview.

03/23/2012...........Interview (to take place then)!

04/07/2012...........Arrived in USA.

07/01/2012...........MARRIED!

What next?

.......How the days DO slip away!
