Hello everyone, we have been couple for almost 5 years. I am just kinda bit worried since my fiance and I haven't seen each other for 15 months already, but he's planning to come for my interview and he still saving for the expenses for his coming over. And the telephone bill he send over to the uscis were only a couple of months of our communication since it was very bulky to send the mail,so i just told him to send the telephone bills which are rescent 6 months. Should I be worried? would the USCIS make a big deal out of it? Are we supposed to send the telephone bills that comprises the almost 4 years of communication. 2nd thing, we don't email, since we talk like minimum of 3 hours on the phone..courtesy of MAGICJACK, YAHOO VOICE AND TEXT MESSAGING.

I have been waiting for 133 days already. and I'm very worried that we will get RFE..

thank you so much

Well, my fiance and I went through the VSC (it does depend on which SC you're using)and it took 4 months to get our NOA2. We have been "together" for 4 years but actually for 3 years, we didn't see each other. We just sent samplings of emails and Skype logs and we got no RFE's.

we are in california service center.. does he need to come in the philippines for the interview? Im worried bout the expenses. We would rather save the money, then let him come over for the interview, but I am also worried if the consul will deny us of visa because we have not seen each other for 15 months now..

I just graduated college and was with my fiance 4 year this Nov. Prior to my last trip this Aug for 2 weeks I havent seen him since Jan 6th 2011 (thats the date i came back from my 2.5months stay in Guyana)

I'm sure you wont get an RFE....Just sit tight in there. I myself was trying to save in on the expenses but we missed each other a whole lot so I sucked up the expenses and went for the 2 weeks, thou that trip was not with the evidence that I've already submitted.

the various centers seems to be moving very unpredictable lately so.... be cool! stay encouraged and all will be fine!

Clearly people do not know what an RFE is. I would say, FIRST, read an understand the guides, then you will worry less.

An RFE is a "Request for Evidence" which means something was missing from your petition. You send in what they ask for and go on with it. If you did not include something that needed to be included, you WILL get an RFE. Providing things which are not needed, such as phone records, will not make up for something that is needed. If you get an RFE it will tell you what you need to send. Send it and you will be fine.

Emails, phone records, etc are not needed AT ALL for a petition and will never be asked for in an RFE for a petition. They do not provide evidence for anything needed for the petition.

You must provide evidence that you have met in person within 2 years (24 months) of filing the petition in order to get an APPROVED PETITION

An approved petition is NOT a visa, nor does it mean you will get a visa. It means you can APPLY for a visa. At that time you will have to present evidence of an ongoing relationship. Consulates vary in what they expect to see. US citizens are not required to attend interviews and in many consulates are not allowed to do so.

Not seeing each other for 15 months is not a problem for the petition, none at all. It MAY be a problem for the visa, it MAY not be. I would ask this question in the regional forum for your consulate.

Yes that is the purpose which is why I gave accurate information the OP can use.

I am neither sarcastic nor ignorant. I gave the OP solid information and have no bad words to say about other members. I try to provide information not insult others.

I was reading one of the topics here last week and I think she was denied the visa because she has not seen her fiance for 14 months and they dont communicate daily..maybe as long as you have proof that you are on a ongoing relationship, you wont have any problem.. but with my fiance, he is planning now to come in the philippines coz it will be 14 months not seeing him. and he dont like to take any risk..
