Morning all,

quick question with my filling out support document. They ask me to list dependants, either fully or partial. I happen to have a daughter , that lives with her mom, so obviously i do child support. However I have read that the dependants listed here should equal dependants listed on tax returns. I don't claim my daughter as a tax deduction so not sure if i should list her on the I-134. Anyone out there with similar situation, and possible answer would be apriciated.

I would list the child.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

I agree with Bobby+Umit, you should claim her if she is a minor child of yours no matter what. I have 3 children not living with me that i pay support for and I claimed them on my

i-134.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I have an 11 year old with my filipina ex. Our daughter lives with her out of state. I don't pay child support because I am responsible for all expenses related to her travel back and forth (cross country) which includes any long weekends on top of standard visitation like 7 weeks of summer, spring break, half of winter break and every other thanksgiving, I also get to claim her every other year on my taxes. I'm using a VISA service specializing in Filipina fiancee's and have been instructed to add her on my I-134.

10/17/2008 - First Contact via message in CB

03/15/2009 - Engaged

05/15/2009 - First meeting in person (I traveled to Philippines)

10/05/2010 - Sent I-129F package to Fiancee VISA service for review and forwarding

12/08/2011 - Interview - Approved!

12/20/2011 - VISA in hand! (Never showed up in 2go online tracking!)

01/04/2012 - POE San Francisco(SFO)I met her there.

01/05/2012 - We're Home!

02/14/2012 - Married Valentine's Day 2012!

05/04/2012 - Mailed AOS/EAD/AP packages via FedEx ground

07/26/2012 - EAD/AP Combo card received
