RFE for "Missing" Original Birth Certificate which was not missing at all

Hi all, so I am really confused as what to do. I sent in my DS-230 documents and when I called for something else, an operator said that I was missing the Original Birth Certificate. I sent in a certified copy. Does this mean they do NOT want a certified copy or does it mean that they didn't see the document in the package (which sounds odd because I translated it, put a POST-IT Note and even photocopied it for the duplicate package I sent them). Should I wait for this supervisor review, which they say will take 10-15 days ...and makes me sick to my stomach.... or should I have my husband send out another birth certificate. We are from France so there is no Original Copy per se unless I send out the family book. I would love some feed-back from people who have had the same thing happen to them.

Please let this waiting torture be over soon. I am so over this.

I got the same thing, i sent a certifies copy, but they wanted an origional, then they approved me after i sent that in, I can just relate to the same experience not the country of getting the certificate...wish you Luck

Forgot to tell you in my other post: the supervisor said not to send in another birth cert before they have reviewed it. She said that it cause a delay of up to 20 days if they receive that and it turns out you didn't have to send it in. So we're waiting until we hear about the review.
