Confused about co-sponsor requirements

I don't make enough to independently sponsor my fiance's visa to the US. I would have been fine with just the two of us, but our baby is coming in February and I would have to make enough for the three of us. I just have a few questions about the requirements for a co-sponsor for my fiance.

Will the co-sponsor also have to make 125% of the poverty guideline for three people? If there are two people in the co-sponsor's household, would that make it 5 people? Or does the co-sponsor just have to make up the difference in my salary and the poverty guidelines?

My parents have offered to be co-sponsors for my fiance. My mother works but my father's income is from social security/disability. Will that make any difference, or is it still counted as income like any other?

If it is your parents and they have no other dependents, it would be just your parents and your fiance, so 3 people in their household and they would have to meet the 125% above the poverty level. You will not be included in that figure.

The co-sponsor must meet the income requirement for their household plus the intending immigrant. You would not be included in that count unless your co-sponsor claimed you as a dependent on their most recent tax return.

Your US citizen child(ren) would not be included in the co-sponsor's household count.
