checking if filing I-129f may be an option at this point?

So i am stuck with I-130 for more than 7 months now and seems nothing is working to get it done. I am trying to understand if filing for K3 may be an option to go with. Any advises if i can proceed with this or if it is a waste of time at this moment? Thx

02/07/2011 I-130 to Chicago Lockbox

02/22/2011 Priority date

02/24/2011 Received hard copy of NOA1 in mail

06/11/2011 I-130 transferred to USCIS office

09/02/2011 RFE

09/13/2011 RFE docs delivered to local office

09/29/2011 Additional RFE package delivered

10/11/2011 Senator's office informed APPROVED

11/05/2011 NOA2 in snail mail.....forgot about it...

NVC

10/24/2011 case recieved

11/18/2011 Case # assigned..

11/21/2011 AOS fee paid online & DS-3032 sent through email

11/23/2011 Agent of choice through email accepted. Paid IV fee online..

11/25/2011 Both fees show "paid". Sent AOS & IV in one package...

11/28/2011 AOS & IV packets delivered.../letter rcvd-Expedite request denied..huh..

12/02/2011 RFE on phone for AOS section 25..

12/03/2011 Revised I-864 sent..

12/09/2011 Case complete.

01/26/2012 Medical done..

02/07/2012 Interview done but temp denied.. green 221g

A Hard wait begins...Plz God help....

Always an option, but USCIS will not approve anything any faster with the addititon of an I129F. Your best bet is to just wait. Put in a service request, contact a senator but don't file the I-129

agree with Canadian wife... if you turn around and file k3 your back at the beginning and it;s actually taking as long now as cr1. Your stuck at uscis and it looks like they are working on your case due to the current RFE so it shouldnt be much longer. At least with the RFE you know they looked at it. Just wait and see what happens. You can call them and ask them as well to see where it is and if they received the docs etc. Put in a service request as well like canadian wife said.

LOL at this point you dont want anyy extra time involved ;) it won't be long im sure and you will move really fast at NVC as long as you have all your documents ready to go so start working on getting all of them together now and make 2 copies of each file for you and your wife :) sending originals to NVC! GOOOOOD LUCK!!!
