Every city is different, so what we tell you is of no importance unless they have recently had an exam in Accra. The easiest way to find out is to call or email the embassy.

But for others who read this thread and are in Costa Rica, we got the X-ray immediately, the blood work in about four hours, and the sealed envelope from the doctor while we were still in his office--the whole thing took less than a day--the blood work started at 11:00 am and the wrap up with the doctor was at 4:00 that afternoon. In CR, the X-ray is at one lab, the blood work at another, and the doctor is the third stop--all different businesses in different buildings, but within a few blocks of each other.

Does anyone know how long it will take for my husband to get his medical results? Will he obtain them the same day he takes the exams, or does he have to come back and pick them a few days later? He doesn't live in Accra, so we are trying to figure everything out. Thanks in advance!

The best thing is to have him go to accra to holy trinity and plan to stay 2days in a row and than they tell him wen to com and get it
