That's great news!.... You have sufficient amount for copies. Just hang on to them as your "files at the courthouse" will be destroyed and you will never be able to have another. Best recommendation is to leave a copy with your family for safe keeping, bring the rest with you and once in USA scan and save to your computer and then put a copy in the cloud for safe keeping. You may never need this document again, but in the case that you do, you will have access to the document both here in USA or in the Philippines. One never knows.

Some visa applications require further administrative processing, which takes additional time after the visa applicant’s interview by a consular officer. Applicants are advised of this requirement when they apply. Most administrative processing is resolved within 60 days of the visa interview. When administrative processing is required, the timing will vary based on individual circumstances of each case. Your mileage may vary.

That's good news. I shouldn't be much longer, but no one can predict when it will be issued. Keep checking and just a little more patience from you is needed.

I'm so nervous right now. My husband filed a case (HE IS THE ONE WHO FILED THAT CASE) to someone regarding a big debt. Case was filed last month. Do you think this will affect his NBI? He's about to get a NBI clearance this week.

If his NBI is not clear he will not be leaving the Phil anytime soon. Go and get the NBI NOW so you can see what is on it. If it's clear then no problems. But how is he going to proceed on a case when he will immigrate soon?

NBI CLEARANCE (Green Form): Applicants aged 16 years and older must have a valid Record Clearance (for travel abroad purposes) from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). Clearances should be in the applicant’s current name, birth certificate name, maiden name, married name, and any aliases or nicknames ever used, including different spellings of all names ever used. An official letter of explanation from the NBI is required for any notation of “No criminal record”, or "No pending case”. For immigration purposes, an NBI clearance is considered valid only for one year from the date it is issued. You may contact NBI at (632) 523-82-31 to 38. The NBI website is http://www.nbi.gov.ph.

Oh! I'm sorry. What I meant is he'll get his NBI this week (he got HIT 2 weeks ago). Actually he just went back there few hours ago (I thought he was scheduled to go back tomorrow) and got his NBI Clearance. It says NO DEROGATORY RECORD! ? Whew!

Anyway, purpose of the NBI is "Visa USA", is that okay?
