Hi! I wanna know how long will it take for NVC to review and eventually complete a case?

NVC received our AOS & IV packets last Septmber 26 (we've been receiving false RFEs, called an operator yesterday, requested for a supervisor to review our case). We're hoping that we'd be able to complete our case by next week (2nd week of october) so that we'll be scheduled for embassy interview in november. Any inputs will be greatly appreciated! Thank y'all (L)

The average is 7 days from the day one of the packets is received at NVC. You will get a false RFE after the first packet review is done (for the second packet).

The average is 7 days from the day one of the packets is received at NVC. You will get a false RFE after the first packet review is done (for the second packet).

We've already received 4 RFEs since September 22. First 3 RFEs are False RFEs (asking for our AOS & IV packets which they've already had). The last RFE's still bothering us. It stated that the AOS line 25 doesn't correspond to the IRS and W2s submitted by my hubby and was asking that we complete and submit a new completed and CORRECTED form.

Back story: Hubby provided two W2s for year 2010. He had two employers that year (but not at the same time). The sum of the two W2s is equal to the amount stated in his IRS and is the exact same amount we've stated in our AOS line 25. We talked to an operator (seemed he understood what we're tryin to explain) and told us not to pass a new form and wait another 10-15 days. He'll ask his supervisor to review our case. :dead:

I called NVC to check if they have scheduled an interview date for me. They said that they havent scheduled since october is full. Also they said that NVC schedules interviews in the 2nd week of each month. So I was told to call them in the third week of October.

Can anyone tell me why the NVC sends False RFEs? My case got completed on September 30th. Should I still expect any false RFEs?
