Once you receive your permanent resident card and change addresses. The form ask "Port of Entry Into US" & "Date of Entry Into US". Do you use the last port your entered or do you use the office location where you interviewed for the PR card?


N-400, Application for Naturalization

February 21, 2009- Mailed to Arizona lockbox - DAY 1

February 23, 2009 - Delivered (priority date) - DAY 3

March 2, 2009 - Check cashed (do not see case number on check) - DAY 10

March 3, 2009 - Check posted to account - DAY 11

March 5, 2009 - NOA (receipt) (case transferred to National Benefits Center) - DAY 13

March 9, 2009 - NOA (Biometrics appointment received) - DAY 17

March 20, 2009 - Biometrics Completed - DAY 28

March 21, 2009 - Biometrics Appointment - DAY 29

April 23, 2009 - Interview Letter Received - DAY 62

June 9, 2009 - Interview (Approved) - DAY 109

July 15, 2009 - Oath Ceremony - DAY 145 (4 months 25 days)

August 11, 2009 - Received Passport

October 6, 2015 - Update: Still happily married...

The port of entry is typically the first airport where you were entered the USA where your I-94 card and passport was stamped.

Date entry will also be in your passport.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
