Court Certified Documents

Do we need to send the court certified documents along with the application or we should be ready to give them at the time of the interview or can we send them as an update once we file the application?. These documents or 10-20 years ago and looks like it will take some time to get the court certified documents from courts. I want to know if we can submit the application and in the mean time get the court certified documents and send them to them or provide them at the time of interview.

In general - normal photocopies are accepted... not certified. Unless the documents you are talking about are citations, arrests, etc...

There is nothing stopping you from filing now and taking the documents you are currently collecting with you to your interview. Should USCIS want to see those documents prior your interview, they can always contact you.

I had very a very old divorce decree from my husband's first marriage and the original didn't look very official...they didn;t even ask to see the originals during my interview.
