NVC electronic processing (juarez, Mexico)

Anyone would like to share their experiences with electronic processing with NVC? any difficulties, things that might confuse you? I'm trying to get some info before I get any news from NVC, so I would greatly appreciate anything, I've been reading on wiki guide for NVC electronic processing

You won't have a choice, Mexico is a Required Electronic Processing. If you were to file by mail you run the risk of delaying your case or worst of all getting and RFE requesting you to file online

From my experience it went great, have all your paperwork ready, especially your Affidavit of Support and civil documents have them scanned and remember to put your case number on each page (top right), you just have to wait to pay NVC and when you are able to log in your portal fill it the DS260 form online. Then you can e-mail your packages with the cover letter (provided by NVC available in your payment portal)

It was fast, my case was approved in 3 weeks and after it was approved I received my interview letter two business days after

Writing the case number on the top right of each page is not a requirement, NVC has suggested it in the event documents get separated and they need to match it back up with the file; this shouldn't be an issue with EP.

If you still wish to write the case number on the documents but don't actually want to write on the documents themselves, if you have access to the full version of Acrobat or a similar program, you can insert the case number digitally. If you are unable digitally insert the case number on the scanned sheet but still do not want to write the case number on the document itself, you can write the case number on a sticky note and put the sticky note on the upper right corner of the document, then scan the document with the sticky note on it.

As you see in my thread that I referenced my earlier post, you will see that I did not put the case number on the civil documents, what I did instead was put a sheet before the document saying what the document was and then put the case number below the document description.

I also put the case number in the name of the attached file that contained the DS-230 and accompanying documents when I emailed the package to the NVC.
