RFE displayed an "A#" for my Fiancee.

Receved RFE couple days ago. I noticed it had an "A#" for my Fiancee. Is this an indication that we are near an approval? She certainly didn't have an "A#" when we started this process! Is this the norm or is something good happening?

It is an Alien number. Just a method of tracking for USCIS, similar to a SSN.

Often times the A# appears on the first I-797 Notice of Action, from USCIS, but not always. Other times, it may appear on later I-797 documents.

Sorry to say, it is not indicative of "progress" as you may think.

Thanks, but I know what an "A#" is. I want to know if this is an indication that we are near an approval?

Thanks William33. Guess I was reaching for something good!
