OK I know this has been asked over and over again but could anyone please tell me EXCATLY what forms need to be submitted when it comes to Jim's Tax Returns?

WHAT has to be signed and notorized????????? He did his Taxes online and we have all his 1040's,but due to doing it on the computer tehy're NOT signed by him.

WHAT do we need to do?

Any helpful input is more than welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nat,

All I can tell you exactly is that you're best off dropping the word from your immigration vocabulary and thought process, and accept the fact that immigration is a rather subjective process. Most requirements are laid out in qualitative, not quantitative, terms and people have a great deal of flexibility in what they can do to meet the requirements. For most things there is no 'exactly'.

With regard to tax returns, one can either submit a copy of the complete (a meaningful word, don't overlook it) original tax return or a tax transcript that can be obtained from the IRS. Many people prefer the latter, especially if their return includes a lot of schedules and attachments.

I use PDFs that I download from the IRS's website to do my taxes. I submitted mine unsigned and unnotarized; they didn't seem to care.
