Just curious...

Has anyone had 2 family members living in the same home with a K-1 application pending? Has anyone heard of this? I happen to be in this unique situation. I am engaged to one of the 2 family members.

I appreciate any input. Thanks! :)

Hi Tolsab, I notice we were the same NOA1 date and you have yet to be approved for NOA2. Are the applications at the same stage? If you think about it from the outsiders view it would seem a big coincidence that two brothers found spouses in the same country and applied for same visa's exactly at the same time. I am not sure if it would register on their systems that there are two applications from the same home, but if it did I would think it would arouse suspicions of some type of possible immigration fraud. I am looking at that through US immigrations eyes and is only my humble opinion. You must have some concerns hence your post.

However I would think that if your paperwork is all as it should be, And each application taken independantly you shouldnt have a problem.

No the applications were 7 months apart. I don't have concerns about there being a problem. Our cases are quite different. We even live quite far apart. I've been reading about twins applying within a week of each other both being approved, no problems. So, I tend to believe they take each case as it comes. It's more about relationship situations, visits and proof of support. We have all our bases covered including cultural traditions. Engagement ceremony, etc.

I suppose I was just curious if there were any other similar cases. My searches on this website didn't turn anything up. But a couple other people messaged me that they had seen similar cases.

Congrats on the NOA 2 btw...I hope to see ours soon. Good luck on the rest of your journey :)
