Which InfoPass appointment type to choose?

I scheduled an InfoPass appointment for March 7th for my wife to try to talk to a case officer about her case if we havn't gotten any notice of approval or green card by then. When I made the appointment, I selected the option "I have a question about my case" and am wondering if I need to change it to, "I want to speak to an immigration officer". Is there a difference between the two appointment types?

10/01/2004 I-129F Approved

12/15/2004 K1 Issued

12/30/2004 Arrival in US

02/19/2005 Married

01/30/2006 Conditional Green Card Approved

01/15/2008 Conditions Removed and 10 Year Card Issued

03/28/2009 N-400 mailed to Lockbox

07/17/2009 Interview Denver USCIS office RECOMMENDED FOR APPROVAL

08/28/2009 Naturalization Ceremony - US District Court - Denver, Colorado[/b][/u]

09/04/2009 Applied for passport

09/22/2009 Passport approved and mailed

09/24/2009 Passport received

08/26/2009 Naturalization Certificate and Name Change Petition arrive back from State Department

I don't think there is a difference - I think you just go there and they will send you to the next available person (in Denver they have 4 or 5 windows through which you deal with them.) They will look up your case on their PC and either help you or not. I did see some people were called indoors for interview with an officer so don't know if they were through infopass or not. Motu how did the officer came up with the ordering of your biometrics to make it faster? I am getting impatient my husband doesn't wnt to make an info pass appt. he just wants to wait for my interview Did you guys asked the officer to if u can just do the appt. that day so u dnt have to come back? Bec im sure my EAD got approved but they were just waiting for my biometrics. Is it possible to ask the officer if we can have it done the same day-my interview day.

April 25,06 started working.

Aug. 18,06 passed the colorado driving test

Sept. 28,06 got my own car

Aug. 28,12 7th year wedding anniversary

July 11,2011 became a Citizen of US

Does not really matter what you choose.

09-02-2005 Applications for AOS, EAD, and AP received by MSC

10-21-2005 AOS fingerprint notice for 12-08-2005

11-07-2005 AP approved

12-05-2005 Infopass appt at San Jose office for interim EAD -- Refused, because it is already approved by MSC on 11-07-2005

12-07-2005 Attempt at interim EAD at San Francisco office -- no go. Back to San Jose, where CSO (chief station officer) tells they will contact MSC via email to request permission to issue interim EAD

12-08-2005 Biometrics for AOS and EAD. Having no EAD appt letter was no problem (used EAD NOA)

12-15-2005 EAD arrived in the mail

12-24-2005 Received interview letter; interview scheduled 03-01-2006

01-28-2006 Received replacement SSN card in married name (5 wks since application)

03-01-2006 AOS interview -- approved; received stamp in the passport

03-13-2006 Green card arrived in the mail
