Hello,

Just curious here since just waiting on the entire CR1 process has your mind going a mile a minute.

Just asking your opinions here. Would the fact that the beneficiary is unemployed in her home country qualify as

Severe financial loss...Since the petitioner now has to support them both from hte US?

ANY comments would be appreciated..

Married July 16th

NOA1- August 19th

Touch - August 24th

NOA2 - Feb 27th - Praise the Lord!!!!!!!

I think in most cases, an unemployed beneficiary would NOT qualify for an expedite. In many developing countries, many beneficiaries are unemployed. Many have requested an expedite based on severe financial loss and have been denied.

You can certainly try and request an expedite. But IMHO, I don't believe it will be granted based on this situation.
