I am a Muslim Filipina would it be a problem on the interview? i know some people think that most of the muslim people are bad so i am nervous, Muslim in mindanao didn't really care about birth certificate that most of us are having hard time sometime when some offices ask for our birth certificate, i just got my birth certificate last year it is late registration, would that be a problem too? i mean would it be questionable too? i met my fiance tru internet last august 2009 and he was still married that time he just got divorce last july 2011 and his ex-wife is still living with him because she asked for her to stay till my fiance and his kids leave to US, he is in US military and his ex-wife is a japanese, she didn't file it yet on japanese side about their divorce, but on the American side my fiance already did everything and also at Military side, his status is single, but would it still be a problem when i go for an interview if she didn't do it yet on japanese side? as a muslim i don't have also the medical record and i am nervous about the vaccination because i don't have any record, will the doctor/hospital tell me what vaccines should i get? he sent me packages since 2009 till now can i use that too as a proof our relationship? we have pictures too, we met 3 times already, i still have our E-ticket on my email from last year when we went for a vacation can i print it out and used proof too? we have emails too can i print it out and use as a proof? if we get married here in the Philippines what are the things we need to do? will it make him easy to get me to be with him? i want to have a clear my mind before we start out plans for now i am still so nervous, i am hoping you can help me... thank you so much....

First thing, you mention 'husband' and 'fiance' in the post, the man cannot be both. Which is he? Are you married?

Good luck

you can answer almost all youre questions if you read the guides first before asking,,as long as he is divorced he will be fine but the embassy will not care where you were born, you will need proof of who you are or you will be denied,,after 9/11 in usa alot of things changed and its not as easy as it once was.if he is still in military that will help, they are given some help that others cant recieve, but if he is and he has kids he probably wont meet the financial standards to bring you here without help, that will make it more difficult, many of our friends are from southern filipines so that is not a problem but unless you are a very serious muslim who adheres to all the rules, why make it harder on youreself, just my opinion, not based on any studies,it just seems that they might look harder into your status if you are muslim but always be honest,,good luck

thank you., he will be retiring next year May 2012 to be exact, i am planning of converting into his religion not because i am shy of my religion but he wants church wedding and i want us to live good, i know sometime in a relationship religion is a problem, he didn't ask me to convert, i am the one who decided that..., i am an open minded muslim and i am against to some acts of some people who claims they are muslim, that is the first question i asked when i met him, but he said he don't care about my religion,on financial status i know he is good, i am really praying everything will turn out good...

Don't worry so much about the "Muslim" thing... Unless you have associations that raise a concern,,, I would expect you will be treated

just like any other applicant. The US government goes out of it's way to remain neutral on religion. Often to it's own detriment.

Good luck.

I am a Muslim Filipina would it be a problem at the interview?

It should not be a problem.

i just got my birth certificate last year it is late registration, would that be a problem too? i mean would it be questionable too?

It should not be a problem.

i met my fiance tru internet last august 2009 and he was still married that time he just got divorce last july 2011 and his ex-wife is still living with him because she asked for her to stay till my fiance and his kids leave to US, he is in US military and his ex-wife is a japanese, she didn't file it yet on japanese side about their divorce, but on the American side my fiance already did everything and also at Military side, his status is single, but would it still be a problem when i go for an interview if she didn't do it yet on japanese side?

No problem...you are both single.

as a muslim i don't have also the medical record and i am nervous about the vaccination because i don't have any record, will the doctor/hospital tell me what vaccines should i get?

You don't need any medical records or vaccination records for your medical at St. Lukes. St. Lukes will give you the necessary age-appropriate vaccinations. The cost of the vaccinations are included in the medical fee.

he sent me packages since 2009 till now can i use that too as a proof our relationship? we have pictures too, we met 3 times already, i still have our E-ticket on my email from last year when we went for a vacation can i print it out and used proof too? we have emails too can i print it out and use as a proof?

That is a good start. First, you want to prove you met within the past two years from when you filed the I-129F packet. I sent copies of: boarding passes, baggage claim stubs, the Philippines stamp in my passport, hotel and restaurant receipts, visa statements showing the charges, photos, etc.

You will also want to show a continuing relationship: email, chat, phone bills, snail mail, etc.

if we get married here in the Philippines what are the things we need to do? will it make him easy to get me to be with him? i want to have a clear my mind before we start out plans for now i am still so nervous, i am hoping you can help me... thank you so much....

If you get married in the Philippines, you will file for a CR-1 Spousal visa instead of a K-1 Fiancée visa. The spousal visa usually takes a little longer. Getting married in the 'Pinas takes a lot longer too.
