women of a certain age are very into the pantsuits but I don't see too many women under 50 wearing them any more.

They are still in their elasticated jimmyjams in my walmart - any age

They are three to four times bigger than their scrawny little husbands who try to get through the day without getting a thick ear and their 'rights' removed without possibility of parole

It's better to die on your feet than to be shushed for saying something while nancy grace is on

Just make sure you wad is distributed all over the world in secret accounts first

This is why I don't live in the boondocks

It's great - no point hanging out in Monte Carlo and feeling inferior cost you dont have a nelly copter..

I live in Central Washington and feel great because I can speak English already

I am not in favor of the scold's bridle as I think that an exit stage left is the appropriate response

Scold's bridle

For some strange reason I find that pic a bit of a turn on.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

On the other hand, the scenery at the local supermarket is altogether more pleasing elsewhere

I think I know the difference between aggressive women and the more traditional sweeties

Dinero

I was married 14 years the first time and she stayed at home and looked after the kids and I paid for everything

result - - no aggro

Since then I have only bothered with accomplished intelligent women with their own money and high flying careers

- invariably - nightmare

Conclusion ?

Dinero

The one submissive I found owed 60k on her credit card

After all, it's why we do as the boss tells us at work right ?

Final conclusion - be richer than her - much richer - then when you get shushed during nancy grace, you can say "thats your new red mercedes sports car down the tubes so hah ! "

Alan you ever thought of heading over to Russia, Ukraine or Belarus? Some hot ones there. Just don't make the same mistake that I did. Don't get a smart one that speaks good English. Find a hot little number from a small way out village that doesn't speak any English...or better yet one that doesn't speak at all. Something like an 18 year old deaf and dumb Ukrainian gymnast. B-)

I did look down the Bangkok route and I was introduced by the agency guy to his Thai wife in Kidderminster - v sleek and like a shilling whippet she was - but I was young and inexperienced (about 55) and I read about equality and how great it is and got suckered out of it. Some g/f's said it was demeaning to women for one party to have all the power - I think they meant "for the bloke to have all the power - and how did she get so slim".

My next ploy is to act old and helpless and see if I can get the symapathy vote - but modern ladies are only interested in old blokes when the woman owns the residential homes and are making $1,200 a week out of each inmate

Until then, I can only give back to ensuing generations of innocent men by alerting them to their mortal danger

To put it another way, If you aren't Donald Trump, you are going to learn that you are wrong - very, very, wrong - and you won't have to ask them to speak up when they say it.

That's why you travel to Russia Far East or Siberia...southern Russia is a good one also, and grab one from a small village. Don't use any dating agency...just travel over there after you mapped it out and hit a few of the smaller villages. One that doesn't speak English and one that doesn't want a Donald Trump. I was seeing a lot of those gals over there...from the car window when the wife was b*tching as usual and saying to myself "Let me out right here, and I'l take care of the rest.".

I'm telling ya, that place is a gold mine.

I have visions of Borat villages...I would retire next time round and get 2 cats for company instead (de-clawed).

I disagree, sometimes after lookin up all them big words, it can take hours figuring out just the right ones to delete.

I am aware of the problem. However, replies like "That is Junk" or "How stupid" are merely characterizations and the next step after that is that people get personal.

For that reason it's best to have a coffee, then sit back and have some thoughts about a post and then see if any of your own thoughts come to mind (other than them thar cussing words or short retorts). I mean like different or opposite views on the actual subject

If you think that your thoughts might take one or two sentences to type, then you have the basics of a post !

Most people don't get criticized for spelling or grammatical errors, but unless people take the the time to set out the entirety of their thoughts, readers might not understand the point they are are trying to make. These forums can get tedious is if people throw characterizations rather than thought out rebuttals or even... wait for it... approval of what has been posted ! Rather than just saying "I agree", it's still necessary to say why you agree.

If we all just post " I agree " or "I dont agree" or "That's stupid" or " You hate women" then nobody knows the reasons behind the other person's remarks and non of our educations are extended even one little bit

If my neighbor says " I hate your cat ", then I I dont know why

If they say "I hate your cat coz it poops on my garden ", then a meaning is conveyed and a conversation can result which ends up in real word actions

Also, when picking out people's posts to throw at them as a weapon, it's only fair to use the full quote otherwise it's deliberately inviting people to draw a false conclusion from incomplete information

An example: If I say "I hate people abusing children" and you only quote me saying " I hate people" then it's being unfair to the point of deliberately slandering the original poster and only very bad people who are not going to heaven would do that.

Hope that helps... a good rule of thumb is that unless your thoughts take up two sentences, they are probably not as informative as they need to be.

Of course some of my more succint quips dont fit that definition but those are in the minority

I am also aware that If I use words like 'succint' or 'minority' south of the mason-dixon line (that line your underpants leaves one your stumick), it can be misunderstood as they don't hold with 'minorities' and they think that 'succinct' is a swear word.

So patience is necessary to handle misunderstandings

That is where today's women 'throw it all away'

When a man is confronted and challenged eye to eye, he will eventually walk/run away from the domestic setting or stay and become not worth having. Some will stay and continue to fight for their dignity but domestic peace will not follow while the trousers are being fought over.

Smart women down the eons have played the submissive game because men will then go along with the women's agenda and shower them with goodies and think they are a rare treasure

The aggressive female amazons and dominants who stalk much of today's society deserve what they get which is either NO man or a submissive man not worth having or a setting for a fight

It really isn't natural and neither is this imagined equality business which only exists in the view of the dominant

My mother said she had an equal relationship, and she and my father had never argued in 50 years - then she added "He wouldn't dare"

The existence of armies of 'molehusbands' confirms this.

Perhaps that has been your experience, but I have never played 'submissive' in order to keep the peace. The past men in my life - and my husband too - all know who I am, and have said that it was part of why they respected me so much. (before you go on about 'maybe my other relationships didn't work out because of this', keep in mind I ended every single one of them. So please don't go there because that argument would be invalid.) I don't take sh!t, but I don't give it either. And if a man needs me to play submissive in order to be happy, then he's someone who needs to feel superior to someone, and that's not someone I care to know.

While I will agree that there is more than one way to get what you want - more than one way to phrase something - sure, that is true. But it's not one end of the spectrum vs. another...a submissive woman vs. a ball breaking nasty one who's never happy. There is a middle ground, and I'd dare say that most women fall in there somewhere. It all boils down to respect for your partner. I think some of the men on here have this image of some mean/nasty women who barks orders at them. It goes without saying that their partners will eventually be fed up enough to leave. But the proper 'fix' to this is not to be subservient, or to never challenge your partner. I challenge mine...he challenges me. But we never so without respect for one another, and that is the key, imo.

We don't need to fight over who wears the pants, because there are two sets of pants here. And sometimes, a skirt. But neither one of us is Lord and ruler over the other.

eta: this 'imagined equality business' is not imagined at all...as I myself am neither dominant nor submissive as a whole.

That's good news

Of course you are right that having to fight or be submissive is no choice and getting out IS the appropriate choice.

The problem for people on the second time round - say in their 40's is that the people out there are the ones who have been left on the shelf or have been left because they are overly dominant - or they are the ones who left and they are wary and mistrusting

For these people, dating again in their 40's is the Craigslist of mating.

An ex g/f of mine got married 2 years ago for the FIRST time. She always hated football and ginger hair. Her husband is a football freak with spiky ginger hair. She is 56 years old and it's her first shot. Just imagine the acclimatisation that is needed there.

I suppose a man doesn't need to be dominant, I don't, but I think his pride can be easily damaged and its easy for him to feel demeaned BECAUSE he is a man.

For Instance: I speculate that shussing a woman when something important is on telly, is less a mortal strike at the essence of her self image than it would be for a man
