Good night ya'll. I have a question my hubby-to-be owns an apartment here in Peru, would be OK to include this in the I-134?? Since is his property?? Oh and btw we are planning to sell it before I go to the States...

It depends on the embassy.

Most US embassies will not take into account the assets of a K1 beneficiary, especially if these assets are abroad. Since you are planning to sell anyway, can you sell now, and transfer the money into a US account held either by the petitioner or jointly? Then it would definitely count.

We are trying to sell it as a matter of fact, but as you now selling real estate is not an easy thing, so it may take some time...

But thanks, he listed it on the I-134 but I wasn't sure about it, so I guess in worst case scenario they won't even look at it right? And it's not that we need it though, he makes above 125%...
