Hi guys. I have completed paperwork and it is ready to be mailed out to NVC as first thing monday morning. I am going to mail it overnight with USPS. I have assembled in one package 2 separate envelopes. One for AOS I-864 and the other for IV Bill DS-230. Both envelopes contain paperwork as instructed by Visayourney and NVC web site. All paperwork are originals.

My question is. Is OK to mail both packets together to NVC? Or should i send AOS first and few days after IV bill packet? Does it make any difference?

Together, of course. I just don't know where the myth about sending things separately comes from. It is true that the two packages go to different departments for processing, but I think we can assume that the folks in the intake section can read and send them on their way to the appropriate departments...it worked for me, and for countless others.

Of course I'm assuming you have paid both invoices and that you have the proper bar code cover letters attached...have you done that ??

I am sending mine together too... I kinda think sending them seperately has caused unnecessary false RFE's for some. I have looked at many timelines during my wait and those who send them seperate seem to take longer to get processed than the ones that send them together. I could be all wrong but just in case I am sending them together. Also I dont want to pay for two overnight envelopes!

Send both together in separate envelopes. Except for Marraige certificate, Beneficiaries Birth certificate, PCCs, Tax Transcripts and of course the signed I-864 and DS-230, you don't need to send originals. DS-230 and I-864 packets will be send to two different sections for process and both may not get processed at the same time. Hence there may be possibility of a false RFE, which is fine. All the best.
