Copies or Originals ?

I read you should only send copies and save the originals in case they lose them or are requested at a later time. However, on the "Letter of Intent" letters I had them both notarized at the US Embassy in the home country (Thailand) of my fiance (beneficiary). Should I send the originals or copies. Are there other docs that should be originals ?

One more question. Do I need to send only $340? I read somewhere about a fee for biometrics??

The letter of intent can be scanned but the signature and date must each be signed separately IN INK. One Letter of Intent for you and One letter of Intent for her. SEPARATE DOCUMENTS. The 129-F Fee is $340.00 made out to US Department of Homeland Security. Other fees come later.

Documents like birth certificate or passport stamps can be copies. Letters of intent and forms must contain original signatures, therefore you can't send copies.
