k1 visa beginner

Hi i'm new to this site, thi is my first post, but i'm sooo eager to learn since I want to send my application in a few weeks... I wanted to know the total cost from filling to being approved to come to the US... my fiance lives in Haiti i'm pretty sure that makes a difference....I also wanted to know about the biographical page? am I the only one submitting that or would he have to do one as well...Finally all the doccuments and evidence I need to submit the application...so confusing just need to take a deep breath and jump in so to speak...thanks in advance for the replies!!

You will be submitting an I-129F petition to begin with. After that gets approved, your fiance will apply for a visa at his local consulate.

The fee for the 129F petition is $340. The fee for the visa application will be $350. There will also be a fee for the medical exam. After the visa is granted, and the 2 of you get married in the US, you will need to file for AOS (Adjustment of Status) which costs $1070.
