Got NOA2 and a cosponsor.. but petitoner unemployed?

In the title-

Husband lost his job, I have a cosponsor, and husband has two job opportunities (interviews went very well) so should be employed soon. Should I wait until he has a job to send the I864 forms? Or should I just send the info right now of the cosponsor be sufficient?- And If so, should I send my husbands previous pay stubs (2011) and tax transcript (2010)to show that he has indeed been employed for the majority of 2011 and half of 2010.

I would like to get this sent off ASAP so I can get here quicker.

Any advice appreciated.

When I did my K-1 my now-wife was unemployed through the whole process. We had a cosponsor, and it was no problem. We filed an I-864 for her showing zero current income, and included a previous tax return for when she had been working in the previous 3 years. As long as you can provide an I-864 for a cosponsor who is above the poverty line for a household that includes you, and as long as you include all of the necessary documentation for them, it should be fine.

But yes, do include an I-864 for your husband and any documentation you do have for him.

Go ahead and send it now, no need to waste time.

Now, if by the time of the interview your husband has a new job earning a sufficient amount and can prove that with one or two pay stubs and a letter from his employer, then you can take an updated I-864 to the interview and see if they will accept just that, and ignore the previously submitted co-sponsor.
