It's not on the list of prohibited items (such as portable electronics, CPs, etc.)... but may I ask why you would want a keychain light?

I always carry one. It is especially useful in the Philippines when a blackout can happen at any moment, and does so frequently.

I keep mine connected to my kubaton so I don't lose it. (Just kidding!!)

If they won't let you bring in the keychain light, you could just bring in some matches in your shoe, just in case

I always carry an LED keychain light in my pocket and it wasn't a problem for me when I attended my fiancee's USEM interview. Upon entry into the embassy I didn't even have to empty my pockets. The guard just asked me pointedly (and smilingly) if I was carrying any cell phone, ipod, or other electronic gadgets, to which I calmly and repeatedly replied "no", and that was the end of it.
