Hi everyone! I just have a question regarding question #5 of DS 156k form. I have two kids with my fiancee which is the petitioner. Right now we're still undecided if we're going to bring the kids now or they will follow. So we are putting them in the form at question #5 and checked the box WILL FOLLOW but what if we decided later on that we wanted to bring them with us already, is there gonna be a problem with that or its okay? because they're already US citizens.

thanks and god bless us all!

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Not sure if you are saying the status of the kids are US citizens already or not. If they were included with your 129f petition Check the CFO website but kids are covered under your 129f and you have up to one year to bring them over. Jim.

I listed my daughter on the DS156K (just showing that I have a daughter) and I checked "no" in both questions "follow to join" and "accompany". Cos she is a US citizen already and has a passport, she will travel with me using her US passport and not on a US visa (in which she will never have one).

I think the reason why they asked that is so that the child can be issued a K2 visa.

Hi! our eldest son is already US citizen and my youngest son we're still fixing his CRBA for him to be a US citizen too. But we did put them still in I-129f where they ask for list all your unmarried childre.
