depends on ur bargain price.its less than 5k...and obtained same day at alagbon in ikoyi part of lagos.the last i know of yr ago was 1.5k

Thanks, I basically just needed an idea, it is my fiancee who will be going there so hopefully they wont be too difficult with her and not overcharge her.

yes it depends on who you meet there when you reach the place she should not pay more than 1500N to get the report good luck to you guys

:thumbs: Thank you so much, the people on this site totally rocks... :dance: I relayed the message to her earlier this morning (Nigerian standard time )and she went there to collect it, She paid 3500 Naira so I guess her bargaining skill needs to be polished :lol: she said the most helpful hint I gave here was the "dont use any phoney" because she said there were people ready to charge as much as 10,000 at the gate if you do any shakara. anyways, THANKS AGAIN

the police that did mine collected 7,000 wen i told him i live in abuja.....he said we re the one eating nigeria money...lol

@ PrincessO, yes she was able to thank God. 1500N is about $9 US,

@Dare_Seyi, Wow 7000, it is true indeed, the people in Abuja are the one chopping Nigeria's money so no need for bargaining

i can tell that when i intend to do mine in the future..i wont be paying that much.

Hi everyone,we intend to do our police clearance in future when ever we receive packet 3 or 4 from US embassy Lagos, but here is my question and we begin to scare.. Our petition has been with US embassy Lagos since last month and we haven't hear from them, even telling us to do police clearance or send letter to my fiance in Nigeria telling him what to send to them before an interview schedule. Quick one please, do you know time it take before US embassy send you any form of letter after receiving from NVC, because I can't understand why is taking so much time! Your reply will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Lagos works best if you email them asking for the interview date. The USC can also call NVC and ask, they can see it in the system once it has been assigned. You download all the forms you need from the embassy site.
