DS-260 question

We are filling out the DS-260 form as required for our interview in Ciudad Juarez

There is a question on it "Have you ever been issues an Alien Registration Number by the Dept of Homeland Security"

There is a number on our NOA2, above beneficiary's name, that starts with A and is followed by 9 digits. Is that it? Should we put that?

Also, it asks for previous employment. My fiance worked for the same company, but in two different roles (one at the main branch and one at a branch in another city). Must we list this as two separate "Employer" entries? Or just list one?

That number on the NOA2 does not count, so if he has not been issued one before that than the answer is no.

I think it's fine for you to have only one listing for his employment, you can just write what each of his roles there were/are.

Thanks for the help. R u sure that A number doesn't count? If u didn't put it and got approved we will follow suit! ;-)

Also when it asks who is petitioning for you..............did you put SPOUSE even though we are only fiances? :-S

ALSO it asks " Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law? "

My fiance doesn't think he has any record of his vaccines - well he can't find it - so is it ok to answer NO? or should we just put yes? His mom might have it somewhere...

I have another random question, my fiance spent a few months abroad in France taking classes through a study abroad program in his university. is it necessary to list this? he never established residence over there and doesn't even remember the address he lived at. also, i dont see the purpose of naming the school in france under his list of educational institutions because it was technically all under the umbrella of his undegrad university which we are listing.....................

however he did get a backpack with his passport and US tourist visa stolen while in france and was subsequently issues a new tourist visa from the consulate in france. not sure if this complicates matters?

I just wanted to let you know that I am very glad for you for having finally received NOA 2 after such a long wait! Hopefully, the rest of the process goes well and quickly.

I would make everything as clear and accurate as possible, so that someone who doesn't know you at all will understand exactly what happened. For instance, if I were to see one job but two addresses for a certain time period, I might wonder "how did this person keep his job if he moved?" Then I would have to ask you about it during the interview. If you answer that he transfered within the company, then I will understand perfectly, and wouldn't have to ask you about it at all. Same with the France thing. Put everything no matter how minor it may seem to you.
