hi everyone,

I just wanna ask something, my fiance got annual income of $32,+++ he's living with his parents, and 2 brothers so they're 4 in the house and all of them working. He got a son which he pay child support of $400 every month. Son visited him only every weekends. He's regular to his new job for 1 year and more and got good income for the last 2 years. He doesn't have any bank account to present since his ex-wife gets all the saving, As for starter saving in the bank was his last option or maybe when I get there in US.

Question: Do we need the so- called co-sponsor?

: Is bank account really necessary?

Thanks so much

he's still lives with his family but he's not supporting them. the only person he supports is his son so he meets the income requirement with an annual income of 32g a year.

You need to go by these poverty guidelines: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864p.pdf

He doesn't support his family, only himself and his son, correct? In which case he will need to have 125% for a household size of 3; himself, his son and you. If he makes $32k, then he is above for 3 people($23,162) and fine.
