vaccine records not available

I know this off the OP question.. But struggling to get the answer. If anyone can help. We have tried to get Betty's vaccine records. But have been told they are in storage and none of the records are cataloged mid 60s. They have flat off refused to even look.

She has 2 visible marks on her arm from the shots. But no records. What can we expect when she goes for her medical???

She is forced to take the shots again or ???

We get questions about this occasionally, and I have never yet seen one approved. And yes, they are costly and take a long time so it will probably double the time of your getting the visa, with very little chances of success.

Can I ask what religion you are that objects to vaccinations? Have you ever had any vaccines in the past, say as a child? If you have had standard childhood vaccines, and depending on your current age, you may not need anymore.

Which stage of the process are you at? What visa are you applying for? If you are applying for a K1 or CR-1 in Ireland, have you tried both her old GP (or whoever took over his clinic) and the local Health Board? Most likely she'll be given the choice to either have them again or pay for blood tests to see if she is immune, and thus doesn't need them. There is a small chance the doctor will simply believe her if she says she had the standard childhood vaccines given in Ireland, as it is so rare to deviate from the vaccine schedule there.

K1 we just received our NOA2 7-28 waiting for NVC to get case.

Her Old GP is long passed and the local health board is who told us they are in storage with no hope of finding them. They won't even try to look.

he would have passed me for immunisations.

My fiance has no records from her childhood in Scotland. She will simply have to get the shots again. The shots needed were going to cost 1215 pounds in the UK but here in the states all of them will be under 100 pounds. So we're waiting. :-)

They will let her travel before then ? With no records ?

I wasn't sure if they would hold up the visa for vaccinations

The shots have to be completed before we can apply for an adjustment of status. She called the Embassy to confirm as some of the shots were way expensive in the UK and about free here. Some shots they only give to children 2-8 months old, and some shots are seasonal like flu shots, and simply do not exist right now.

hey guys, do we have to wait till we receive packet 3 before we schedule the medical or can I do it now? we just got our approval on wednesday and trying to find out when we can schedule my medical

I think you can schedule it before- I waited, but they never asked me for a case number or appointment letter or anything.

Thank you for starting this topic!! I'm in the same boat can't get vaccination records for my MMR jabs. Was also thinking surely the 3 huge holes in my left arm is proof enough lol! This has put my mind at rest.

Also we got our NOA2 on Monday and I booked my medical with Dr. Gleeson straight away. I got 30th August so no big waiting list thank god.

hey nicky, I just went and had a medical on tuesday, it doesn't matter at all that you don't have your medical records. I didn't have any to bring and he just said it was typical and that it was ridiculously hard to get them. it's such an easy and nice experience too, I was in and out in about 30 minutes and I can go pick up my results next week just gotta wait for the consulate to send me my packet 3 grrrr they received it on the 22nd
