How long to get physical RFE?

hey all

i'm adjusting from an F-1 visa- filed on the 23rd of July.

I received an email from the USCIS indicating that I had been mailed an RFE on the 2nd of August. I live in Chicago - does the RFE come from the same facility as the Chicago lockbox? If that's the case, how long should this take? Mail from downtown Chicago normally arrives within a day of it being sent.

For people who've received RFEs- did the postmark on the envelope generally match the date you were told it was going to be sent?
