Worried my NOA2 got stuck or lost in CIS

I am very worried now that they lost our petition in CA USCIS after approval. We got email notification on NOA 2 on Aug 24. We still have not received an actual letter and NCA do not have our case. People who has NOA2 after us already got the case number and their petition has been forwarded to the embassy. What should I do? Should I just wait?

Have you called NVC? I got the run-around and called repeatedly until I got answers. Don't think the worst.

While there are a few CSC approved after you who have NVC dates, there are many more with NOA2 dates before you who still are not reported NVC dates. This is a travesty. A process that should be a few days has turned into a wait of a month or more. We should ALL be contacting our members of Congress, pointing this out as one more example of a broken system.

As to what you should do - I'm sorry, but I don't have a good answer.

I wouldn't worry to much yet.

Our NOA2 was August 3rd, the NVC sent our petition to the Embassy on August 22nd... We already have our interview date, and I still have not received anything from the NVC in the mail saying the forwarded are case.

I would do what William suggested, and keep checking in with the NVC. :thumbs:

IMBRA RFE Received - 06/30/2006 (Dated 06/23/2006)

IMBRA RFE Delivered - 07/01/2006 (USPS Next Day)

Touched - 07/03/2006 (Email saying they sent RFE)

Touched - 07/10/2006 (Recieved RFE Response)

Fiance receives actual Packet 3 - 09/06/2006

Fiance receives Packet 4 - 09/22/2006

Medical Scheduled - 11/06/2006

Interview Scheduled - 11/07/2006

Fiance should be on her way to me! 11/10/2006

Visa Approved!

Thank you William.

I received an email response from NVC. I just realized that even though I put the correct case number on the subject line, they responded with the wrong case number and said no case yet. I just called and spoke to an operator. I told them I received a letter but they still don't have my case yet. They just told me it would take 2 to 4 weeks. I guess I would call USCIS next Friday when it hit 4 weeks if NVC still don't have my case.
