what is his priority date?

married children take more than 18 years of waiting. If his priority date is 2010, he was petitioned by his father last year, then he has a very long wait. he has to check the visa bulletin every month.

For Phillipines, the category F3 on the visa bulletin is April 1st, 1992.

So what does he do? Nothing. When the time comes, the NVC will contact his father to continue the process.
