Question about RFE

Hey guys,

Man I can't believe it, I just got a RFE !!! I'm sad now.

Well, that's what I get, I was dying to be touched. My question now is, is there any way for me to know the contents of the RFE ahead of time. I mean, it was mailed out today so I guess I have to wait until it arrives in the mail. But is there anything I can do now? Do they send out this information via email if you signed up for email updates on the uscis site? I'm currently at work and do not have access to my e-mail acount.

I'm guessing it was because I submitted an attachment for my fiance's G-325A form, but stupid me only submitted one copy of the signed attachment (I wasn't thinking that there are 4 G-325A forms). Luckily, I planned ahead and had my fiance sign various extra copies of the attachment when I went to go visit him in Mexico a couple weeks ago. Hopefully that's what the RFE is about.

First of all... RFE is not that bad... don't be sad.

If you sign up with CIS website, there will be an update of your case, of course. As for the detail of RFE... you could go through the check list again and if you are conferdent about your guess then just get perpared ASAP.

It won't take that long to recieve RFE in mail... by then... you will know everything...

When you send everything back that they are asking for, don't forget to write " RFE " in red on the front of your return envelope. You can also include your reciept number. Send it via express mail so you can track and confirm. Best of luck and don't be sad ! (F)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I know how you feel. I hadn't been touched since July and then was so excited to see a touch at the USCIS site--but it was an RFE!!! :( It took a week or so to get it. I hope you will get an easy one--I did.

NOA1: April 6, 2006

IMBRA RFE: July 17, 2006

RFE #2: September 25, 2006

OMG a touch!: October 5, 2006

another touch!: October 7, 2006

hey, back up a minute...

APPROVED!!! October 4, 2006, received letter October 16, 2006
