Yes you need full tax return with W2s or tax transcript from the IRS.

I got my transcripts and W2s printed at the IRS office in one of their offices. It looks as though they printed it from a website i.e. very plain, has a web address at the top - is this professional enough? I thought I read somewhere where someone had theirs stamped? It's all the information, just printed very informally.
