k-1 filing fee

we sent the petition package to the Texas lockbox and it had been delivered on 12th of July, and we havent received NOA1 yet. so we contacted lockbox and we were told that the processing fee is $355, not $340. we checked the USCIS website and it still says $340... this was the reason why we havent got NOA1.

is there anyone having same trouble?

Oh my god. I just sent mine in yesterday.

The website states $340.

I hope you figure this out. ... And that it's not really $355.

I am not sure who told you that the processing fee is now $355.00. The $340.00 fee went into effect 11/23/2010 and as far as I know, that has not been rescinded

or replaced with a new fee. Did you pay by check? If you did, did they cash it?

Also, from what I understand, it can take up to 30 days to receive your NOA1 even though some people receive it in a shorter amount of time.

There's no cause to worry, as it's barely been 2 weeks.

And if they did change the fee without noticing people, that is now several weeks of no announcement of a change. And a lot of angry people. (This is my way of telling myself the fee hasn't changed. haha)

Hi,

I assume we're talking about the I-129F fiance filing fee. I overnighted my application last Tuesday the 19th and I got an email Sunday night saying they had received it on the 20th (not sure if that's the same as NOA1 date). My check posted this Monday the 25th. It was for $340, so I assume that as far as the amount of the check, you are ok. I've seen no indication of a different fee in any material I read before filing the form.

i guess the guy was wrong.. called again to make sure the correct amount of fee, and now it is $340.
