Sadly, I read yesterday where the expected cuts would come from first... or better phrased what would be paid first.

Paid First... bondholders, medicare and medicaid, military, social security... I stopped there.

Bondholders, yes. Medicare, medicaid, military spending, etc. eeek, that about sums up what got us into this mess, wars and social programs. Until they completely remove both of those from the equation we are toast. I'm really not sure why it takes a rocket scientist to understand that.
