If it has only been a few weeks, it will be hard to demonstrate continuing income. Best you can do is a Profit and Loss Statement for the period that you have engaged in self employment. Any clients you have can write letters telling what rate they pay you for your services and how likely they are to continue your services.

Off topic: Be sure to talk to a tax accountant, to be sure that you and your employers (you may be a statutory employee) are meeting their tax obligations and filing requirements. Later on in the process, you will have to demonstrate that you have filed your taxes and are not in arrears with the IRS.

Forget everything I said about statutory employee. If you are providing childcare in your own home, you are not an employee. :)
