Hi Everyone,

Conflicting message from NVC is killing me. Yesterday they told me they send the petition was forwarded to the Embassy right away. When I call them again, they told me the petition is on additional processing. What is additional process and what are they looking for? Is anyone got any idea? Appreciate your help.

You have to first confirm that it is reatined for additional processing. Additional processing may mean that your fiancee name had a hit (possibly on a similar name that case criminal record) and they are checking on it. Good luck!
